Latest Project Fixture Rollout
OUR SOLUTIONS:
SCOPE OF WORK:
We were approached by our client to manage a special project rollout, consisting of two fixtures, shipping to 3500 stores. It included:
- Receiving bulk items from Lozier
- Consolidating the bulk items into finished pallets
- Shipping finished skids directly to stores.
SOLUTIONS TO OUR CHALLENGES:
- We developed easy-to-understand assembly instructions to help store associates build each unit
- To efficiently pack all 7000 skids, we built two production lines, one for each fixture
- We shipped finished pallets on dedicated trucks to Destination HUB's
- All trucks shipped direct drive to HUB's to allow for quicker delivery and to eliminate additional handling and damages
- Shipments to Destination HUB's were split up, so that any one HUB wasn't overwhelmed with possibly receiving hundreds of pallets at a time and straining their storage capacity
- After product reaches the HUB it will be loaded on a liftgate truck for inside delivery/white glove
