SCOPE OF WORK:
Michaels challenged us with developing a unique décor package for their Flagship store in the heart of downtown Toronto, Canada. The completed project was entered in the A.R.E. Design Awards in 2016.
SOLUTIONS TO OUR CHALLENGES:
This was a unique store with 3 levels. Working closely with Michaels, we needed to develop custom signage and décor to address the spaces in a balanced scale and tie the levels together, to create a seamless transition that made sense to the customer. This was accomplished by designing elements for each level, to tie them all together, make navigating the spaces easy and create a compelling reason for customers to shop the entire store.
Hanging banners, directional signing, wall vignettes, perimeter wayfinding graphics and window graphics were used to complement the standard décor program and create a pleasing, branded environment that made for an inspiring shopping experience.
