Baskin Robbins Ceiling Coffers

SCOPE OF WORK:
Dunkin Brands added these decorative ceiling elements in their Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins locations. They originally used typical construction methods that required multiple steps including framing, drywall, patching, priming, painting and lighting attached once complete. The process was costly and took several days from start to finish. They needed a cost-effective solution for implementing the coffers.
SOLUTIONS TO OUR CHALLENGES:
We created a one piece version of the ceiling coffer that looked virtually identical, but came fully assembled and painted its final colors. The GC simply hung the units from the deck using supplied aircraft cable and passed a pendant light through the pre-drilled holes. It became an installation process that was completed in hours, instead of days, at a fraction of the cost.
